KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed that a leader of Gang 77 has been arrested under the Ops Cantas Khas on Tuesday evening.
He said that the man was arrested in Seremban.
“We are not targeting any particular races but we are targeting those involved in underworld activities, especially gang members and bosses,” he said.
“Ops Cantas is still ongoing and we will not loosen our efforts,” he said at a press conference after presenting awards to state police contingents and districts in conjunction with Op Selamat held during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period.
“More arrests will definitely be made,” he added.
